- Ammunition should be stored in its original package or containers properly designed for the ammunition.
- Ammunition should be stored in a dry, cool location, away from heat sources or open flames.
- Keep ammunition dry, wipe dry at once if ammunition gets wet, and keep moisture exposure minimal.
- Inspect ammunition prior to usage, and do not use ammunition that show signs of corrosion (regardless of how minor), deep dents, or physical damages. If in doubt do not Chamber or fire the ammunition.
- Never attempt to use or salvage submerged ammunition.
